Executive Chef Chris DiLisi

LockKeeper’s Executive Chef, Chris DiLisi, is a Cleveland native who grew up in Lyndhurst, Ohio. He attended Western Culinary school in Portland, OR where he graduated with honors in 1999. Upon graduation, Chef DiLisi worked at two, four diamond award winning restaurants, Barcelli Inn and The Inn at Turner’s Mill. He also went on to open and own two of his own restaurants: Flour in Moreland Hills, OH and The Willeyville on the Flats Eastbank. Flour focused on Southern Italian cuisine and also featured Neopolitan style pizza. The Willeyville was a Modern American restaurant which focused on dishes made from scratch.

Chef DiLisi has a simple food philosophy: respect the ingredients, the season and the guest. ‘All of these elements make for a great guest experience. My goal is to provide as much energy into all of those as possible.’

As for the new Fall Menu at LockKeepers, Chef DiLisi says he made sure to use all of the best ingredients that the season has to offer including squash, pears, apples, brussels sprouts and pumpkin, to name a few.
